ÁRBOL
El árbol es libre
sin mirar el mundo.
El cielo lo ve
en la tormenta
y el viento
lo mortifica...
Yo miro la sombra,
el verdor de sus hojas,
la escultura
de sus ramas
y pienso:
¡ahí está la perfección
en existencia!

The tree has
freedom
without
looking
at the world.
But the sky
can see it
in the storm,
and the wind
may disturb
its peace.
I look at its
shade,
at the green
leaf,
at the
sculpture
of its
branches,
and I think,
there is the
perfection
in existence!

ÁRVORE*
A árvore é livre
sem olhar o mundo,
mas o céu a vê
na tempestade,
e o vento que a mortifica.
Eu olho a sombra,
o verdor de suas folhas,
a escultura
de seus galhos,
e penso: aí está
a perfeição
em existência!
*Ficou estabelecido que
o 21 de setembro seja
"O dia da árvore".
